Quicktime Compression Question
Maybe a dumb question here......Newbie to this forum as well as pp
Are there any other Quicktime 7 templates for Vegas that are larger than 3mps but WAY smaller than uncompressed Quicktime? I like around 6 mps and .mov's allow this but have not been able to find Quicktime stuff...... Thanks guys/gals We are shooting HD video from a remote Helicopter, getting some neat stuff, but I would like to have more choices for posting video samples on our website. www.copterviews.com Again thanks! |

K,
Tried it from 112 KPbs to 360 KPbs, selected the frame size I wanted, the resultant was a larger output which is good, but the file size / quality was not any better, actually worse as the file size was the same as the 3mps so stretched out larger looked worse. |

I use 384 kbps for streaming SD, and 768kbps for streaming high quality SD or small HD files. Take that for what it's worth.

K,
I think I got it? I bumped up the Kbps as high as it would go, 32767 Kbps Quality looked good, file size was about right, etc..... Why such a high Kbps rate? |
