Help Serious Problem

I'm not sure where to post this but i have a serious audio issue. We shot a wedding and we didn't realize that our mics were on the same channel until the ceremony began. What I have is two audio tracks from each wireless mic that have a interference on the voice when they talk. I have Sony Vegas 8 and Sound Forge and Noise Reduction 2.o. But i am trying to eliminate as much of this as possible.

Pleas help!

depends on the noise you're getting. Since both units were on the same feq (sorry but shame shame for not checking...I'll bet you never do that again) the interference might be tough to eliminate.
It would depend on the noise you're getting. If it's a static type sound you might not be able to get it out. A hum or buzz though you should be able to reduce it but I doubt you'll be able to get rid of it completely. Take a noise samlpe in SF and run the audio thru it see how much the voice is affected. you might need to back the NR off some to maintain the tonal quality of the voice. Better to take 3 or 4 or more small bites than1 big one. Without knowing the exact sound you're trying to get rid of, it's only a guess.

Since you pretty much better get this fixed you might have to look at other tools as well. You might want to place a sample somewhere so we understand what you are dealing with. If SF & NR doesn't work you might try iZotope RX - Complete Audio Restoration: Declipping, Declicker, Hum Removal, Denoiser, Spectral Repair, Restore, Remaster, Download

You can download the trial and try it out if the tools you own don't get the job done. Perhaps someone here can try it on RX and see what happens.
