Vegas 7 to FCP format

Hey Guys,

Ive captured some 1080 50i footage in Vegas 7. the time is 5 minutes long. i need to export this at the best possible quality and format for FCP.

i will be uploading this footage and need to know what the best format and codec is.

what have some you guy's used? also i need to keep file size down as much as possible... but its always a catch 22.

Hope you can help or point me in the ight direction :)
