start Vegas user group?
I've mentioned in previous posts that I'm the only Cincinnati Vegas user I know.
Anyone have suggestions on how to seek out local Vegas users for the purpose of starting a user group? I honestly don't think there are many here, but who knows? |
I agree it's sometimes difficult to know who in your area is using the same software. One way is to set a date/place and post that on some of the various forums available and see if you get any responses. However, I'm convinced that MOST users don't ever look at the forums. The only other option would be a request to Sony to see if they might send e-mails to registered users for a particular area.

I should also add my name to the list as well as I use Vegas too and would love to be in a usergroup within my area as I can certainly use extra tips and suggestions to make my projects give it a more professional look.

Edward, I will contact Sony. I can't imagine they would do such a thing, but it is a heck of an original idea you have.
Thank you. |

we are in San Diego and would be willing to host if anyone in our area is listening

In San Diego, as well. Although I find I get plenty of input and help from Vegas users worldwide; on the internet, in forums, on Vimeo.com, YouTube, etc. Would be curious what other San Diego people are using Vegas for, though.

Users in Cinn area
Ok, I'm not actually in Cinn, but I'm a short ways up north in Centerville, just south of Dayton. I've been using Vegas since V3.

Peter, Matthew, anyone in the Cincinnati area: if you're interested in getting together once a month for pizza (or whatever) and talk about Vegas, e-mail me or call me at 513-312-1435.
