My brother-in-law use Vegas and I always poke him with "man, use fcp, is more pro than that..." and one time he challenged me to use vegas and guess what: I like it. Vegas is extremely fast in my rig even with HD projects so now I'm using it in my PC editing a weekly program that airs in a local tv station. My brother-in-law also make a concept interface of vegas, I'll post it so you can think about it.
