Colour managment in 2nd monitor

Does anyone use the colour management setting for the 2nd monitor ?
Are there any benefits ?
If so then what settings do you use ?

Paul.

absolutely! set the display to studio RGB if you deliver on NTSC. otherwise, your luma values won't be properly displayed. I also activate color management and use a profile that is more representative of SMPTE.

Thanks Bill, i was hoping to hear from someone of your calibre.
I'm in the UK so it's pal for me, if that makes any difference.
So i select colour management, then tick the studio RGB box, then what would be best to select from the drop down box ?
I've tried a few and they do give different pictures so i want to make sure i use the correct one.

Thanks Bill.

Paul.

Paul...

Studio RGB is the same for both NTSC and PAL, and is representative of a broadcast display system(TV). It sets the RGB bandwidth to 16-235. Deselecting studio RGB is representative of a computer display system.
