Recommended Project Settings

Hi,

I have Canon HG20 and am shooting 1920x1080 PF30 setting (since my videos are mainly going on web and as I understand 60i would be pointless since computer monitors are progresive scan). If I plan on rendering 1280x720 should I set that to the project settings or keep the project as 1920x1080 and deal with 1280x720 during rendering? I am trying to do whatever will yield me the fastest render.

Now that I think about it, my dilemma is bigger than I thought. I want the same camera AVCHD file to be used for web content and DVD which means I will want 60i. So should I shoot in 60i and then for the web stuff choose the blend deinterlace method? What other additional steps do I need to take to make 60i AVCHD video suitable for the web? Will I also need to specify field order as upper?

thanks,

brian
