Question for the "Major Players"
 

We are cutting a show on Vegas in HD for SPIKE TV. Our show is a one hour show (44 min). Once they get our one hour cut they are going to re-cut a 1/2 hour show from the hour program. They want all the audio tracks individually sent so they can mix down audio themsleves. They dont care about the video tracks being rendered out, oh, and they are of course on Final Cut. Can this be done? Send multiple streams of AIF's?? Or is there a better way?

I'm a Vegas guy (and a FCP guy as well) up here in LA. You need any help on that gig? And no, I think you should just render out the individual audio tracks as AIFFs and upload them to a FTP site or however you're sending stuff.

Thanks man! is there any cool way to meta tag or mark the 12-15 audio tracks so as to please the editors on the other end? I was planning on AIFF's and rendering out every track from zero to end so if every track is set to zero all the audio will be very close to the vid track?? any better way that you can think of?

Okay, see if you can render out your audio tracks at Broadcast Wavs, which contain timecode and meta data. They aren't AIFFs, but contain what your editors on the other end may need. Otherwise, if you just render out your audio tracks from point zero on the timeline, they should be able to sinc up just fine.
