New Capture issue
 

Good Morning,

I have been using 8.1 on my vista 64 bit I7 computer and all has been well for everything I have tried.

I now get no preview and if I capture anyway, there is only audio.

I opened up 8.0 c and it captures just fine.

I did download the latest quick time and thought that was the issue and restored my computer to a prior day. that did not solve the problem.

I have been looking for a disable preview for capture in case I did something like that by accident.

I also captured with cineform and it is doing the same so it has to be a program glitch!!!
I opened up the cineform clips in 8.0 just fine.
What did I do??

any ideas?

Since 8.0c captures fine, just use that for capturing.

I did capture some DV in 8.1 but haven't tried HDV. The HD footage I've been editing was copied straight off the card from the camera.
