Yes, that is why I didn't try it. I read about just enough bugs that I decided to hold off. I had signed up for it, but changed my mind.

But as you said, many positive comments on it despite it being beta. They've already got the upgrade policy made I think. I believe I read if you buy a PC with Vista on it after a certain date they will give you a free upgrade, etc. but I don't know about those who bought standalone versions. Probably left out in the cold.
