Vegas Pro 8 & DVDA Pro 5 questions

Is there no integration whatsoever between Vegas and Architect, à la PremPro/Encore? Can't find anything in the help file.

How do you produce a simple DVD without any menu/navigation? Seems like DVDA by default puts up a menu. All I want is a disc that, when inserted into the player, would start playing.

Thank you,

File- New.
Select the Single Movie option.

As Mike says, yes you can do what you want.

DVDA and Vegas have no interconnectedness at all however, to answer that question.

As Mike says, in DVDA select the single movie option. You can then drag and drop the mpeg 2 file onto what would be the menu of DVDA (but you won't have a menu in this case) and then burn.

On the surface that appears to be true, but under the hood it's a bit different. Not only is DVDa trained to accept certain file structures/types from Vegas without re compressing, but DVDa also contains the Dolby digital licensing required for Vegas to unlock and activate its full dolby digital (ac3) potential.

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. To answer Ervin's original question I should have said they are not integrated. You cannot open one from the other.
