ShuttlePro with Vegas Users

Has anybody had any success getting smooth scrolling in the timeline with the Contour ShuttlePro 2? The smoothness wasn't there with the default and after some experimentation I ended up programing F9 and F3 for shuttling with a 60 times a second for frequency for the initial turn and then assigning F9 and F3 "as fast as possible" for mid turn and then right/left arrow, 45 times a second, then right/left arrow "as fast as possible". Anybody else have any success with other settings I could try? Thanks.

I remapped the controls similar to you. Forward 1-4 are the right arrow key in various increments of presses per second. F5-7 are the page down. The reverse is the case for the reverse movements on the shuttle wheel.

The inner metal wheel with three dimples is still a single arrow key for each press so I can move frame by frame through the footage.

Attached is a .zip file with my settings & settings html files.

I should also say I remapped all the buttons for how I use Vegas. So the 4 top buttons are:

Tab, "R" (for crop), In, Out

The five buttons below are:

Shift, Ctrl, J, K, L (so I can do the play, reverse, & pause)

The Left black button is "Ungroup" the right black button is "group"

The Two left silver buttons on bottom are "C" and "S" and the two bottom right buttons are "V" and "D" (for selecting the edit tool).

I tend to use Play / forward / reverse Waaaaay more than other people, which is why I didn't like the default placement as play in the bottom left two silver buttons. I hardly use those.
