Recapture button greyed out.

In VMSP 9b, right clicking on m2t files in the media bin, the Recapture button is greyed out. But it's there for the AVI files, very odd. How can I get it back?

Cheers.

You can't batch capture m2t files. You can DV-AVI files.

When you say batch capture, do you mean holding the control key, selecting a number of m2t files from the same tape and recapturing/replacing the lot in one go, say to another drive?

I'd like to be able to Recapture single m2t files.

Cheers.

With DV, it can rewind or fast forward the tape, get to a specific timecode, and recapture from/to specific timecodes. That option is not available in HDV. Therefore, no "recapture" option.
