Use the MainConcept encoder to encode AVCHD disks, not the default SonyAVC one. SonyAVC has a nasty bug where often it crashes when exporting in high resolution. It's a well known bug that has been bugging mostly Platinum 9 users.

It doesn't work; when I use mainconcept and render it to bluray spec. it shows me in Architect 5.0 that the file is in wrong format.
(when I render short file then everything is OK but when I render let's say 3.5 hr project then I got this error.
what is going on? How to produce long BluRay using mp4 compression?

I can't even open it back in Vegas; it shows me an error that couldn't be determined!!! (both files the one rendered in Sony codec and Main Concept one)
