H.264 audio/video out of sync in Quicktime Player

I encode the main concept .h264 from vegas 8.0c and 9.0b and the audio and video is out of sync - but ONLY in quicktime player?
The file will play perfect in vegas timeline and also looks fine when uploaded to vimeo or exposure room. I have tried the quicktime player in 4 different computers from quad core to p4 with same results.
My quicktime is up to date. I have tried bit rates from 1-5 and all have sync problems. Whats up with quicktime??

I only use the Quicktime player if absolutely necessary - and try to ignore it as much as possible otherwise. Quicktime has just always given me problems. I don't know, but it just seems as if Apple doesn't want it to work well on PCs.
