Drorp Frames

It doesn't meter if I will capture with the fx1 or fx1000 I will get drop frames.
I even tried 2 different computers and still get drop frames at the same exact place.
Do you think the problem is in the tape?

Mike Kujbida September 29th, 2009 09:22 AM

It's recommended that all non-essential services be turned of during capture.
Do you have anything such as an anti-virus program running in the background while you're capturing?

Dror Levi September 29th, 2009 09:25 AM

yes I do and always have and never had this problem when the drop frame always at the exact time

Mike Kujbida September 29th, 2009 09:30 AM

It could be a dropout but I've never had one cause dropped frames.
When you're watching the tape being played back (i.e. not capturing), can you see anything wrong at that spot?
