Need help with DVDA problem

I am so frustrated. Would sure appreciate the help. In Vegas, I rendered Regions, to MPEG2 DVDA and a seperate AC3 for the audio.

I want to create a DVD using DVDA. On the main menu I want the Play button to play all of the Rendered Regions in sequence. I can't seem to do this. Should I not have rendered as regions?

Then, I want a second button leading to a submenu screen to play individual chapters. I have been able to do this.

Is there a sample DVDA project file that shows how to achieve this? The documnetation for DVDA is so worthless IMO.

Paul,
If I'm reading this right you have X number or rendered clips in DVDA, yes?
If so, then click on each clip, one at a time to bring it up on the DVDA timeline, go to Project Properties>End Actions and set the end action to Link>. It will say 'broken button', simply use the pull down menu to set it to the next clip you want to play.
Repeat as needed for each clip.
When you use the play all button one clip will point to the next and so on.

If I DIDN'T read it right let me know.

Thank Don, I didn't realize I should work from the timeline. I was trying to use the tree structure on the left. Is this only way to do this that you know of?

For the individual chapters, just drag the clips to the proper menus.

NOW, add the clips AGAIN to the pane on the left. These are the ones you need to use for the "play all". As Don said, each of these you'll need to adjust so that the end-action of the first one points to the second one, etc...

When I try to insert (by dragging from the Explorer pane) a clip to the end of the timeline, it won't insert. Instead, it replaces the existing clip.

no don't try to insert in the TL. It will do exactly what you are getting.

You need to insert in the Project Properties windown. The one that shows the clips and menus and the DVD start (icon with a star next to it).
