Rendering creates unwanted single frame dissolves

Any old threads on this? While HDV footage my clean edits become annoying single frame dissolves.

Cheers,

Dave,

Perhaps check your preferences, you may be doing that by accident. If you had them set for 1 frame you would not notice them on the time line unless fully expanded.

I did something similar once.

Thanks Dale. Turns out it's the whole time stretch/compress thing. So the question becomes is there any way to compress projects without causing this. I'm nesting one project into another in hopes of shortening the whole thing by 20 seconds or so. What's odd is that it doesn't show up in the timeline when I go in close for a look but comes out in the render.
