ac3 issue

good evening,

I am having trouble with the ac3. I never had this before but when I import my 2files to DVA I have no audio.

I had to reinstall all my programs a while back and was wondering if I some how did so without getting the ac3 encoder, or what ever it is?

Suggestions, please??

The AC3 encoder is installed with DVDA, IIRC. It may be that a quick reinstall of DVDA fixes up the AC3 encoder in Vegas.
