Rendering Canon 7d files

I'm experimenting with native AVCHD files from a 7d in 1080p 24 fps.

I rendered out a test clip at 1080p Main Concept MPEG2. It looks great in WMP. But it only works for one play. Try playing it a second time? And a horrible venetian blind looking picture results. What's going on here?

Use pinnacle studio 14 to convert mov files form 7d ,and convert to mpg2 1920x1080 p at 30.000 birate ,after use sony vegas to edit easy.

That's pretty odd playback behavior - maybe it has nothing to do with Vegas.

WMP does not ship with an MPEG2 playback codec. Typically, it picks up a playback codec from whatever DVD player software is installed in the PC.

At a guess, something is wrong with the DVD player software, or, there is none. Or, WMP doesn't see it, or, sees it as some sort of trial for play-once.

Other weird issues can crop up with the region spec for DVD, though I think your render out of Vegas should be region-less or possibly region 1. Is it possible that the DVD player software is set up for something other than region 1? Be careful with this one, as you can only flip the region switch a very few times in DVD player software before it locks permanently.

I yes upgrade to Sony Vega pro 9 d ,and works good in 5d mov files nice and also fast.
