smart render problem

Hello. I have Vegas Pro 9.0c loaded up on my laptop & desktop. When I combine m2ts files from my video camera into one video file on the laptop, most of the video isn't rerendered, with the exception being fading transitions in between files. I have the 'no recompression required message' up for most of the render.

On the desktop however, it rerenders everything from start to finish. I'm rendering to the same output format on both, as far as I know. The difference is that one is 64 bit and the other is 32. Is that the issue? I can't find any info on it.

Thanks,
Rich

Nevermind. Must be a project based issue. I just tried to render a single m2ts file out and it didn't recompress.
