Vocal Eraser plug-in
 

I purchased an upgrade to Vegas 10 and in the email with serial# I got this one "Vocal Eraser plug-in" - what is it?
I also got free Audio Studio....but can't find Vocal Eraser plug-in...

If you go into your account on sonycreativesoftware.com and take a look at 'My Orders', click on the order # for your upgrade. For me, the Vocal Eraser plugin was in the Related Files section, after all the normal download links.

Re what is it - It tries to remove vocals from songs leaving (hopefully) just the music so you could (for example) put a different voice into the mix. These things usually work by assuming anything that's centered (ie he same level on L and R) is a vocal. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong.
