Rendering time-lapse stills to HD

Hi,

I would like to know if Vegas 10 can zoom into or pan across a series of still images when rendering a time-lapse sequence to HD.

I have a series of 10megapixel jpegs and I can render out to HD. But given the large amout of extra data in the file, I would love to be able to render the sequence with a slow zoom, or pan.

All I seem to be able to do is select all images on the time-line and use the track motion, which zooms in leaving a growing black frame!

Regards,
Robert

Yes it can. First of all, get them on the timeline correctly. Go to File - Import, select the FIRST image, and then check the "Image Sequence" checkbox. When added to the timeline this way, you will get ONE event on the timeline containing ALL the images. The apply Pan/Crop to that one event to zoom in.

Edward's method is the most efficient. Only thing there is a bug for 1920x1080 25p format. 30p has no issues.
