Sony Upgrade Specials?

Like an idiot I passed up on the great $149 upgrade deal in November for moving up from Vegas Pro 8 to 10 and then the 30% off promo earlier this month.

I remember the end of last year Sony having similar specials on upgrades to 9. Does Sony have a calendar for specials on upgrades they tend to follow every year? If so when do we think the next one might be?

All you can do is keep your eyes on the Sony site (and this one too) in the hopes that they will have another sale sometime soon.
Hopefully you're registered with Sony and get their emails as that's where the announcements are first made.

for most of my students ver 4 is adequate.

it all depends what you do, how fast you need to do it, and whether the version your using is stable enough to do what you need to do.

frankly i find 10b, with the exception of the sony avc mp4 bug better for what i do than all previous versions.

I'll sell you my Vegas 10 upgrade license for $125. I bought it October, but then we made the decision to move to Adobe Premiere in our office. It's never been installed, registered or activated, not even once. Includes Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 and Vocal Eraser plug-in.
