Flash effect problem with 32 bit floating point

Footage: mpg4, AVC (from canon t21)
Vegas 10 - 32bit
Project properties: (pixel format) 32bit floating point (full range)

I'm having trouble using the flash effect as a transition between two clips -- I'm getting a black frame at the beginning of the transition, followed by no color until the transition completes.

Is there an known issue when using this transition in 32 bit floating point (full range) mode? Or does anybody have a clue what is happening here?

Works fine in 8 bit mode...

Thanks --

answering my own question: the trouble seems to be with MBL (which is applied to the clips as well). I've noticed in 32bit floating point mode, some fx dont play well with MBL... ugh...

anyone else confirm?
