Render issue or bad settings...

2 Attachment(s)
Hello to you all!

I use a Sony Z5 and edit in Sony Vegas.
My settings are:

Z5:
Shutter 1/60
Rec Format: HDV 1080iHDV Interlace 50

Vegas:
Project Properties: (attached photo)

Render Settings: (attached photo)

I have an issue with panning. I don't really know if it is the camera or Vegas, or some of my settings.

I will attach a little video that shows clearly what i mean and please if you can advise and ask in an effort to possible resolve this issue.

And the short vid of what i'm talking about.

Thanks, Stefanos.

Hi Stefanos,
It seems like you are trying to render the item as Progresive. My feeling is that the speed of the pan is just too great to appear smooth in that render setting...

Why it always have to be so difficult until someone tells you how simple it is?
I rendered the same clip in interlace mode and the shagginess is gone...

Thanks Robin...

Footage ends up in both BR & DVD
I take the finished .mp4 file and use Adobe Encore for the encoding.

Do anyone see something else "out of specs"?

Thanks!

p.s. I also notice a significant render time growth... A 3 hour project now wants 10 hours of rendering. The way i used to do it (render as progressive) it would something like 6 in my machine.
