Multi-Camera Render Crashing

I've been going round and round with Cineform and To a lesser extent with Sony support.

I was totally convinced it was Cineform as the fatal error pointed to their DLL but Was able to redo a Pro 10d project with multicamera tract which was expanded so I could do fades between the takes.
this actually rendered fine and I've got a MP4 to show for it.

Did the next song Created a multicamera track - when through the multicamera selection and sent to render. About 1% into the render Crash!!

Anyone else running into this. Sony support seems rather automated.

Re: Multi-Camera Render Crashing

When things dont make sense, I open a new instance of Vegas then in the original project select all, copy, then paste to new Vegas instance and save to a new name. This often fixes weird problems, only issue is that track effects dont copy over.

Try making Dynamic RAM 0MB and try reducing your rendering threads. 1 per core should do. (if it still crashes, keep reducing rendering threads.)

Re: Multi-Camera Render Crashing

Thanks Jack and Jim

Opened a ticket with Sony and they are going through the ol support checklist which is fine but now they've got me creating a sencond admin user - uninstalling Pro 10 and reinstalling under this new admin role in Windows 7. Now the install crashes with the - 1603 error in installation. Sony was saying this was because certain items could not be installed and registered correctly. Anyone else run into this?

Thanks
Harry
