Associate external projectfile to clip at DVinfo.net

Hi, I´m new to Vegas.

I´m trying to storyboard LightWave 3D animations in Vegas (pro 10, 64bit) so I´m very interested in speeding up the layout process.

Is it possible to associate an external LightWave projectfile to a video event?
I´d like to create, open, modify and render a .LWS LightWave scene file from the Vegas timeline.

For instance to setup the LW scenefile parameters like:
startframe, endframe, scene length, fps, audiofile, background images, camera settings, render settings, output file (name/type), etc.

LWS files can be edited with a standard text editor like Notepad.
Any examples of scripts that can handle text files?
