Help with Re-Rendering

I've been experiencing an issue when trying to convert videos that I have previously rendered to WMV to mp4 ( IPOD template )

The WMV videos look great, rendered at 3Mbps template with 24p. Now, what the problem is, as soon as I drop a WMV rendered already onto the timeline, the video looks like it has a white haze on it. This is even before I re-render it to something else.

Now, generally I render all of my movies in 1080 mp2 for a HD master copy, and use my WMV and mp4 IPOD versions for sale online.

If I was to drop the mp2 version of the clip onto the timeline it will look perfect, this is just an issue with the WMV version, and only on Vegas timeline.

Attached is a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. The top video is rendered in WMV, the bottom is what the video will look like if I take that exact WMV and place it on the timeline in Vegas.

Vegas project properties are set to match the WMV clip so I can't see wtf is going on.

Re: Help with Re-Rendering

It looks like Vegas thinks the video is in computer RGB. I would try to apply the convert computer to studio RGB filter and see if that fixes the problem.

Good. I’m glad it worked. :)

And yes, I mistyped, I meant studio to computer, not the other way round.
