3x3 or 4x4 Split Screen Grid

Hi all ... I know how to do split screen, PIP, etc, so I don't need the basics here, but I was wondering if there was an easy way or script/tool to easily get a 3x3 or 4x4 grid of different videos up on screen at once w/o having to go in and manually position each one?

TIA!

Give DaviTools a try.
It's free so you have nothing to lose.

Mike I checked the link you mentioned, DaviTools, but it says its for Vegas 8 and 9. No mention whatsoever for 10 or 11. Do you think it will work with at least Vegas 10? Thanks

If you have Edward Troxels gem called Excalibur it has that already set up for multicam work but with a little creative thinking I've made it work for 4 way looks. I simply sync what I need run multicam in Excalibur then delete the tracks that have the Master Tally, tally and master track. I get lazy sometimes and find it easier to do than use P/C and Track Motion to size and place each clip and/or track.

Yes it will and here's how to do it, directly from the developer himself.

The VideoWall works for Vegas 10 as well. The installer will not let you choose version 10, but if you install anyway you will find the VideoWall in the sony application data directory for your user account:

For windows 7 that would be:
c:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Sony\Vegas Pro\[version]\Application Extensions

The VideoWall files are:
DaviTools VideoWall.dll and DaviTools VideoWall.png

Find these files and move or copy them to the equivalent Vegas 10 folder.
