Loading clips to Vegas

I have Vegas 9E. When I go to open up clips to vegas and load them in the time line there is no video. If I load them individually I get video. It will be a daunting time consuming task if this is the workflow. The clips are off Canon 7d so they are mpeg 4?

Thanks

Not sure I understand what you're doing.

What's the difference between opening up the clips in Vegas, and loading them individually?

Fred, Vegas 9 is not optimized to handle Canon DSLR footage, that could be your issue. To many events on the timeline will be problematic.

You should use Proxy Stream to convert your footage to either XDCAM 35 or 50mbps or use a plugin like Epic I or move on to Vegas 10 or 11 which are really optimized for DSLR footage and use your footage right off the timeline, no conversion.
