Vegas 9e and XMF files

For the first time I am using the XMF format through a Canon XF305. I downloaded the Canon Utilities but dont see any way to use in in conjunction with Vegas 9e, so I have had to resort to manually opening each of the 220 files and dragging each scene into Vegas...very time consuming...gotta be a betta way right - I hope!

If you know the correct, efficient way to do so can you tell me please.

I renered all last night - it only took 8 hours;)...Now i am trying bring up the veg file again in Vegas but it is taking s-o-o-o- long . It wants to render everything again. What's going on?

I have Vegas 10e but have never used it. Should I be doing so for these files?
Thx

I'd definitely try 10e. You might also look at 11. Each new version adds support for new file versions and faster usage of existing versions as well.
