Vegas Titler - no text cursor !
 

It is a little time since I used the titler on VP11 but although it was a bit clumsy, I don't recall not being able to edit text. Now when I am desperate to finish an edit, I can't get the titler to work. I have tried the pro-type & the legacy text but al I get in the window is the "Sample Text" and cannot do anything with it. - I tried right clicking all over the place but no where do I see "Edit Text" or get a cursor. What am I doing wrong ?

May be Yoy tryed edit text in preview window?
Be shure You opened Video media Generator window?

Thank you Juris but I am doing it correctly (I think), but when I drag the generated media to the timeline & then Rt. Clk. and select "Edit Generated Media", nothing happens in the middle preview window. It just changes to a paler screen but no text at all.

Earlier, - I was dragging the text to this window & it did show the text there, but I still could not do anything with it, but I now see you need to drag it to the timeline.

I can't understand what's happening. Not happy at all with this, as I need it for tomorrow.

Text cursor is the thin vertical line in Media Generator window that shows where you typing (when any text is not selected). Prewiev window shows only full typed text and it's changing while typing.

So you can't see the edit window at all? Look under the "start bar". It may be hidden there. Then you can drag it out to the main window.

Thanks Edward, I do have the edit text window but cannot get the fine cursor at all, hence, typing makes no difference.
