mp3 issues
I am using mp3 audio clips in a video, and near the end of the clips, about 5 or 10 seconds from the end, the audio ends abruptly, even though the waveform on the timeline shows remaining audio.
Is there a workaround for this issue? I used to overcome this problem by putting the mp3 in it's own project, rendering it as an .wav file, and it would be fine, but that doesn't work any more. |
Re: mp3 issues
Possibly this is related to different sampling rates on your MP3 files vs. your project audio?
Try a render of your MP4 to a 16bit / 48KHz wav? Kinda' guessing about this, but differing sample rates in audio files can sometimes have odd implications for duration... |
Re: mp3 issues
I'll try it, thanks Seth.

Re: mp3 issues
Jeff. Did you see that I uploaded the project?

Re: mp3 issues
Kim, I did not, I'll check it out. I'm furiously working on a video this evening, I'll check it out asap, thank you!

Re: mp3 issues
I know this is not much help, but I keep vegas 9 loaded up for those mp3 emergencies. Vegas 9 seems to work perfectly with mp3s where I have run into crazy issues with everything above under certain conditions while dealing with mp3s.

Re: mp3 issues
My work around is converting every mp3 I plan to use in a project to .wav
As a matter of fact, all my songs are in .wav format due to similar audio issues. |
Re: mp3 issues
James, can you recommend a converter? I used to use Vegas to do this, but it doesn't overcome the issue I'm having.
