Pro 13 introduction at NAB

Here's what we've been waiting to see.
VideON | Sony Recording Media | NAB 2014
There's also a video on HitFilm and Vegas on the same page.

Do you know if they will be offering a discount to early upgraders?

They always have, at least as far back as I remember.

Right, but as they say, a past performance is not a guarantee of the future. :)

12 was the last upgrade I'll ever pay them for. Gone but not forgotten. Crashing is a thing of the past for me. I really wanted to like Vegas, it's a wonderful interface. Wish they could stabilize it.

Re: Pro 13 introduction at NAB

Thanks for posting the link to the video, Mike.

Much of interest here... I was particularly fascinated by the new iPad tie-ins, the tablet to serve as an editing controller, collaboratively for in-person reviews, and integration for off-line reviews.

The future of editing, methinks. Not editing on a tablet, but the tablet as an editing extension.

Details at 6:30 in the clip.

Adam, the demo mentions that V13 will release April 17, I'd look for the offer then. That's been when they've rolled it out in the past... Hopefully for $140-ish again, but if you want cool extensions seems likely they'll cost more. I do love the Izotope plugins, they're great.

Re: Pro 13 introduction at NAB

I'm very excited about v13 after having seen that video, so I'll be upgrading for sure. Not decided on which version however. I've already got Ultimate 2 as well as most of the Newblue FX. Like the idea of the archiving facility as well as the ipad intergration...
