Fonts & Vegas
I'd like to expand the choice of fonts in Vegas. How does one import them into the Text Media section? And what font sites do you recommend?
|
Fonts that are in the Windows system will auto-display in the Vegas title tool if they are TTF fonts.
www.free-fonts.com www.fontfile.com www.downloadfreefonts.com are all sites I've used. |
|
What works best?
I read somewhere on some tutorial that certain fonts work better in Vegas as far as artifacting etc. Any ideas on which fonts to avoid or pursue? San Serif or Serif? ph

The article "Great Titles with the DV Codec" at http://forums.creativecow.net/cgi-bi...les/index.html does a great job of explaining some workarounds. Mike |

Thanks for all the info so far!

Actually, I have another question--does all of the above apply to Vegas DVD Architect too?

When you create a new piece of text, look in the top left corner of the Generated Media box and you'll see the "Frame Size" settings. Double these from 720 x 480 to 1440 x 960. It does make a difference. |
