^$100 for Vegas 6.

^ I believe it's $235 upgrade. So that's $335 for Vegas 7+ DVD Arch 4.

The full version is $400:

i distinctly remember Vegas 6+DVDA3 as being $700+ when it first debuted. what's Sony trying to do to this package? I mean it's all good news... but... but what? i dunno. conjecture?

Sony sales/marketing has realized that while Vegas+DVD has had a list price of $699, the actual street price has been below $500 for over a year. So now they are adjusting the pricing model to better reflect the real world.

As a dealer, I know that I'll sell more of a product at under $500 than I will over. It's a price point model that applies very well in our marketplace.

As for the actual street price of Vegas 7+DVD, how about $399.95 (after rebate) and a FREE copy of Cinescore!! Check out our website for more info http://www.videoguys.com/vegasvideo.html

If a person pays for the upgrade to v7 from Sony, do you also get cinescore for free?

"If a person pays for the upgrade to v7 from Sony, do you also get cinescore for free?"

NO not for free .. you get to pay 139 ( or is it 149??) extra at sony ..

from Video guys site ..
V7/DVDa4 with cinescore = 399
doing a upgrade to V7/DVDa4 price with cinescore = 375

Plus the "upgrade" route on Sony's site includes the two additional free themes for Cinescore.

I must say that the theme packs @ sony.com are what is currently tempting me..... Do you have any experience using the music provided with the "weddings" theme?

Okay, I am still a bit confused, I must be having a dense week.

I have 6, and want to upgrade to 7 before the offer runs out at the end of this month. That is 149, right?

So how much does cinescore end up costing me with the extra themes?

Mike Kujbida October 24th, 2006 01:29 PM

Kevin, here's the pricing from my online invoice (shipped to Canada):

1x Vegas+DVD (Download) @ $134.95
1x Cinescore (Packaged) @ $149.95
1x Pass the Ring @ FREE
1x Incredible Vistas @ FREE

Merchandise Total: $284.90

Discount Total: $219.90

Shipping Total: $20.00

Order Total: $304.90

Kevin James October 25th, 2006 11:21 AM
