HDV recapture -- HOW?
 

For DV, the vidcap tool, although not perfect, has the ability to save the session to allow recapture of files/scenes. With HDV (Sony Z1 & Vegas 7.0c) I can not do this. That is, the Vegas internal capture utility allows file clip info to be saved/retrieved, but the in/out points are blank. The "Capture Clips" button in the clip log tab is not even active. Righ-click from media manager or project media also does not work.

I absoloutely need to have the ability to recapture my HDV files (hopefully with frame accuracy). I also tried HDVSplit, but still no way to recapture. If I buy the Cineform ConnectHD, will their capture utility allow recapture? Any other utilities?
