Saving Vegas Templates...

I am reformatting my computer tonight, and I have a lot of saved templates that I'd like to keep. I was wondering if anyone knows where the templates are stored on the computer, as I'd really not like to make them again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a completely manual process. For rendering, you'll need to write down all the settings. For effects/generated media, create a project with those pieces used and then save the VEG file. On the new installation, open the VEG file and then save the presets.

To actually answer your question, I don't know where they are saved.

Grazie, just so you know: They're actually in a combination of files saved on the hard drive AND entries in the registry.

So they are made up of multiple files on my HD, and I can't say, load them onto a thumbdrive to add back on later?

It's difficult to find all the various pieces and then get them back in exactly the correct location and not miss anything (whether it be a file or a registry entry). I've found it easier to just re-create them rather than searching to make sure I can find all the pieces.
