slow motion

can someone explain the easiest way to put a single event into slow mo.thanks rick

1. Hold CTRL and Drag the right edge of the event
2. Right click, choose Insert Envelope, insert Velocity envelope set to slo-mo value
3. Right click, choose Properties, change playback speed in Properties dialog.
Pick any one of the above, depending on need and workflow.
