Dual Layer-Whats your results been like?

I've tried making dual layer discs but had a hit and a miss type results. Sometimes they just dont play, sometimes, the layer break occured differently to where i put it.

Just wondered if anyone was regulalry and succesfully producing them using DVD-A?

I have found that the secret to DL disks has to do more with the quality and brand of disk that you buy. I used to have a lot of trouble until I bought Verbatim...Since then I have not had one failure.

First, let DVD A suggest breakpoints. Don't create them yourself.
Second, don't cheap the media. Big difference there.
We do a DL master at least once a week, not to mention all the demo/critiques, so probably around 50 DL's a week.
DVDA3/4 does very well.

Being Scottish, you don't need to ask what type of D/L media I buy......"is it cheap?". I will break into my Sporran and try some Verbatim and see if i get on any better.
