Bella DV Keyboard 3 with Vegas question

Hi,
I know there's been some discussion about Shuttle Pro, but does anyone have experience using the DV keyboard (made by Bella corp.) with Vegas 7? It comes with a jog-shuttle wheel and generally works very nicely; however, recently I've encountered some glitches, and I suspect it has to do with driver (to customize the JSM settings). Sometimes the wheel stops responding, or there's a lag of movement, or worse, the driver disables itself. Is there something I would need to do to Vegas preferences? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Can't say enough good about the Bella. Perhaps your drivers are corrupted? During the NAB show, we had one of two systems that kept losing "contact" with Vegas, we updated drivers, and all was well. You might contact Lisa or Gard at Bella USA for tech support, they're top-notch, IMO.

Ouch... Pretty excited to go buy one of these suckers but $189.95 + S&H. Ouch... Can't stomach $200 for a keyboard. Would have easily gone $80 - $100 though.

Consider that a jog/shuttle is gonna cost you 129.00 by itself, add to that the macros that can be assigned (with the Bella you can assign 12 multicam points, plus two additional macro points, I use one for split and one for cut) and then toss in a *very* high quality keyboard, it's actually very reasonable. Top that off with reminders for keyboard shortcuts... We've purchased at least 2 dozen of these in the past few years.
they do have

Douglas, what do you mean by "12 multicam points" I'm shooting with multiple camera's and editing but I typically only go up to about 4 camera's. I bought the InfinitiCam on VAAST. Does this keyboard map the cut buttons? Is that what you mean?

It *can* map the camera buttons if you program it to do so.
