I bought a HV20 a few months ago with very little camcorder, and even less editing experience. I then found an unopened copy of Vegas 7 + DVd on eBay for just under $300, so I grabbed it.

Because of my experience with SLR and DSLR cameras, I think I have a reasonable feel for the HV20 but learning Vegas on my own has been less than efficient. I considered the training DVDs on eBay but decided not to buy them without more positive feedback.

Then the other day I saw a bunch of very positive posts here about VASST, and then heard about the discount offered to DVI members.

Bottom line: because of what I saw in this group, I ordered the VASST 3-dvd set, got the discount, and the shipping was very reasonable too.

What I really liked is that when I had a question and called the telephone number on thier site, after only a few rings a real person answered and was very helpful. So I have a good impression already. Further, within just a few hours I received an email that the DVD's have already been shipped.
