BskyB Executive To Present Keynote And Join All-Star Industry Panel On The Future Of Stereoscopic 3D At 2009 NAB Show – Gerry O’Sullivan, director of strategic product development at BSkyB, will give a keynote address and participate in a panel discussion with entertainment industry leaders on the future of 3DTV and alternative stereoscopic 3D (S-3D) at the 2009 NAB Show.
5. DAVE RAMSEY TO KEYNOTE NAB SHOW RADIO LUNCHEON – Dave Ramsey, money management expert and host of the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Dave Ramsey Show,” will deliver a keynote address at the NAB Show Radio Luncheon, held April 21 in Las Vegas.
6. FOX AFFILIATES TO MEET AT 2009 NAB SHOW – The FOX Affiliate Board of Directors as well as the full FOX affiliate body have agreed to once again hold meetings in conjunction with the 2009 NAB Show.
7. First Annual Broadcasting, Ausio And Video Global Trends Report Released – The NAB Show and D.I.S. Consulting Corporation have announced the release of the first annual Broadcasting, Audio and Video Global Trends Report, a compilation in book form of 15 research reports across 15 market segments within the digital media space. The report is one in a number of initiatives, supported by the NAB Show and D.I.S. Consulting, to enhance the collection and distribution of research data of importance to the broadcast and digital media industries.
8. LAS VEGAS HOTELS OFFER DISCOUNTED RATES FOR 2009 NAB SHOW ATTENDEES – Many of the NAB Show’s official partner hotels in Las Vegas have lowered rates by 20 to 40 percent below earlier offerings during peak show dates.
9. MORE THAN 70 NEW EXHIBITORS JOIN THE 2009 NAB SHOW FLOOR – These companies will join a wide variety of NAB Show exhibiting veterans on the 850,000 square feet of space that make up the NAB Show floor.
