360 degree view of 15'X20' office
I'm pretty sure I can do the camera work for a 360 degree view of a room, but I'm wondering what kind of software/skills I'll need to make it happen in either flash or quick time. I've seen those quicktime videos where you can drag a 360 view to any spot in the room, but I don't know how to do that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, ~Nick |
I typically shoot stills using a pano rig and create the QTVR with RealViz Stitcher:

it is called panoramic view.
basically it is a jpeg picture, played by a special software (quicktime, java...) there are several way to do it, the simpler, the more expensive. you need a special lense (180 deg fisheye), take 2 or 3 pictures with a special tripod head), assemble with special software. it is very easy but really expensive. the hard way but cheap. you take a videocamera or digital camera, make a lot of pictures (every 15 deg for example), stitch with special program. lots of work, nice results. try google with panorama, stitch. |
Thank you both.
