S16 scanned to MiniDV, post work in premiere
 

We have recently had some things shot on 16mm (S16mm) and I'm wondering how one goes about for editing the material in Premiere and AE.
It's been scanned and transfered to tape, to a MiniDV.
The main issue is setting the aspect ration, the film is shot in 1.85:1.
How do I set the aspect ratio for this kind of workflow in AE and premiere?
