Importing and changing the image size of .psd or picture

Hey folks,
I have an image project that I am importing into Premire. Whil in Photoshop the image size is 740x480 pixels and when I import it into premire it jumps up.

First of all the display is show some of the ceter portion but about 35% of the image is missing. When I right click and select properties I get this.

Type: Photoshop
File Size: 3.2 MB
Image Size: 1152 x 648
Pixel Depth: 1152
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0

How I can I match the size up to what it needs to be? FYI the orinal XL2 footage is 720x480.

Hi Guy,

Something seems wrong.

First, in Photoshop, check the Width and Height in pixels and the resolution in pixels/inches. You want the later to be 72dpi.

Secondly, in Premiere, under Edit>Preferences>General>Check Default scale to frame size, which should scale media to project size.

My best,

Mike

That default setting is all it took. Thanks
