Quick Fade

Hi,

I am sure there is an easy answer to this but I just can't see to find it anywhere. Is there any kind of automatic crossfade transition in the Premier Pro CS3 timeline. For example in Vegas 8 if you have 2 video clips in the timeline, one can simply drag clip 1 into clip 2 and it will create a nice fade transition between clips. If this is done in Premier it just resizes clip 2.

Thanks,

Rich

If your video layer is selected and you have two clips touching each other you can hit control + D on a PC and it will place your default transition (should be a cross fade unless you changed it)

I would hate being me if it wasn't for Ctrl-D (or Ctrl/Shift-D for audio). You might also want to check your preferences. It's there you can set the duration for your transition lengths for both audio and video.
