RAID0 Basic or Dynamic Disk?

Hello everyone,
Creating a RAID0 setup of two identical 500GB Barracudas.
I am in Win XP x64,will be using Premiere Pro CS3/4
Should I create a basic or a dynamic disk in Windows disk management?
What is the advantage going either way?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Basic. In windows help put in "dynamic" and it will tell you about it...I don't remember details but bottom line is that basic disc will behave as an ordinary disc. Dynamic offers no performance increase.

Use Basic unless you need one of the features that is only offered by dynamic disks. If possible, use the Raid on the motherboard instead of the Raid in the OS.
