export to highest quality

hi, I am new to cs4 and I want to export my footage (shot on hdv 720p) so that i can transfer it to digibeta, what is the highest quality file format i can export on cs4?

thanks

If you have a HDV tape deck and a digibeta deck, just transfer it direct to tape

The highest quality output would be to connect the digibeta deck to the computer using a i/o card and lay it directly to the deck.

You'll lose a generation if you lay it back to HDV tape before the digibeta dub.

isn't h264/mp4 a compressed video format?

If you can't connect the deck directly then export an uncompressed file. Does your storage situation allow this? If not, then go with DNxHD.

yeah that's what I am trying to do now, I chose uncompressed avi, but somehow the exported avi file only has sound but no visual.
